propose to erect in the ground of the Royal Observatory at Kowloon a two storeyed house containing flats for the two Assist- -ants to the Director costing approximately $16,000, and to charge rent at the rate of £35 a month for each flat. They are both married men,

other officers eligible for them.

your sanction to insert a sum of $124,000 in the Estimates for

building these quarters.
